The corporation's business philosophy is to perform our work in a positive and straightforward manner, and in accordance with high ethical standards. We are committed to our reputation as innovative leaders in our industry. Most of our principals and senior staff are actively involved as appointed or elected officials in government service, community service organization members, and officers of professional associations. We therefore have a unique understanding of the issues agencies must deal with in completing projects, and are able to provide additional insight to our projects and work toward reasonable solutions that meet the greatest needs of the public and private sector.
Our approach to projects has been developed from years of past experiences of our principals as both private and public sector employees. It is important to us that:
- We maintain consistency in the staff assigned to a project to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- The project approach and all work products receive QA/QC by principals of the firm, who are also actively involved in project development and approval.
- Projects are managed by senior staff that can reliably control budgets and schedules.
- Sources for technical expertise that is needed for projects are recommended to clients if not provided in-house.
Product quality has never been as important to our success as it is today. In the changing, competitive world of environmental consulting, only those companies which make a fundamental commitment and concerted effort to satisfy client needs will succeed. We must also be flexible and adapt to rapid environmental and economic changes. To meet these challenges we must:
- Set challenging goals for ourselves – constantly strive to improve our skills and performance.
- Be an innovative and active participant – continually look for new opportunities and ways to improve the quality of service and support to our clients, and take the initiative to identify where we can excel as individuals and a Company.
- Be cost conscious – search for ways to ensure that we treat our client’s and our Company’s resources carefully.
It is also important to us that we equally perform on and satisfy large and small contracts, and that we do not maintain a project backlog that may delay current work.
We are proud that over 80 percent of our work is repeat or referral business.
